Self-driving Overseas with your Chinese Driver License

Recently, Japan published some cases that foreign visitors were arrested by police because that they drove with illegal International Driving Permit ( IDP ) . It’s reported that these arrested foreign visitors’ IDP were brought from Internet rather than applying from government.
Therefore, we’d better apply for IDP though legal procedure to avoid risks. It is , however, even you get a legal IDP, you still need to check whether IDP is accepted in destination. In fact, Chinese driver license is accepted in many English countries such as USA, Canada, etc..

USA

There are 39 states of USA that permit foreigners use their own countries’ drive licenses to rent cars and drive. Especially in California, where Chinese tourists travel frequently, the state government has repeatedly stated that the Chinese driver’s license is legal, and can be used directly without any other procedure.
In some sightseeing routes that Chinese people visit frequently also support Chinese licenses, such as Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, etc..

Canada

Canada is also a federal state. However, according to the provisions of the United Nations Road Traffic Convention, all the provinces adopt the same rules as most foreign drivers’ licenses for Chinese drivers’ licenses. Therefore, Chinese tourists can drive in Canada for 6 months with a valid Chinese driver’s license.

Australia

Australia clearly defines two approaches to apply notarized documents about Chinese driver's license to rent a car in Australia. The one way is to apply for Notarized translation of your Chinese license from NATTI ( The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters ), which is the official institution in Australia that certifies translation and interpreting qualifications.
The other way is to provide notarized translations in English issued by China's Notary Office. Only these two notarized translations are legal and recognized by local police.

New Zealand

Rules are a little different in New Zealand. There are three approaches to apply notarized documents in New Zealand. You can apply for notarized translations of your Chinese driver license from New Zealand Transport Agency, consulate or embassy, and designated Chinese notary agency.
Chinese tourists can drive in New Zealand for 12 months with a valid Chinese driver’s license and notarized translations.
As rules varied from different countries, we must be careful and pay attention to the local policies about self-driving tour. Here is a easy way to experience safe and pleasant self-driving tour overseas.

You can choose charter service of BMKP which will provide you with a local professional driver and legal vehicle. The local driver is also a nice guide who knows the most authentic food and attractions. Importantly, you needn’t have to worry about notarized documents of translations. The only thing you should do is to enjoy the travel.

Several Places for Escaping from the Heatwave in world

The first heat wave of the summer, which will push temperature up to 37, hit the northern hemisphere few days and into next week, according to the Weather Channel. Temperatures may reach record highs, with some soaring 3-5 degrees higher than usual. If you dont want to waste summer holiday in an air condition room, here are some places to experience different summer.

Qinghai Lake, China

Qinghai Lake is China's largest inland saltwater lake. This view is one of the great draws of Qinghai Province in China's northwest every June and July. At almost average 3600 meters above sea level, Qinghai Lakes temperatures is about 6to 20in summer. Its a Wise choice to have a cool holiday in Qinghai Lake in summer.

The colours that can be found around the lake are of purity and contrasts, from the deep yellows of oil seed rape against the cold blues of the lake to the dark greens of distant mountains against the fluffy white of bilious clouds.
Few tourists make it to this part of China to enjoy this oil painting of a scene. However, not counting packs of mad cyclists who come for Tour de Qinghai Lake International Cycling Race every summer.
Bushan, Korea

Bushan, often referred to as Koreas second city , recently was named as the number one destination in Asia by Lonely Planet. Bushan as a Coastal city, which is usually below 30in summer.
Busan, about a 2.5-hour journey from Seoul, is the country's second largest city and a popular summer destination famous for delicious seafood and picturesque beaches. Moreover, Ganchuan Cultural Village, referred as Santorini in Busan, is a instant online place to take photos.
Busan packs an eclectic offering of activities to suit all travelers: hike hills to Buddhist temples, settle into sizzling hot springs and feast on seafood at the country's largest fish market. Youll sure to have a relaxing vacation in Bushan during the hot summer.
Tekapo, New Zealand

According to a survey, its one of the most romantic thing in the world to watch the starry town. Tekapo, a small town near the Queenstown, is widely accepted as the best place to watch the starry town.
It is said that, the Magellan Nebula which is the exclusive satellite galaxy of the southern hemisphere, can be only watch clearly in Tekapo all the year. In addition, residents of the town have been used special lights to reduce light pollution since 1981.
During the day, you can visit around the Tekapo. Lake Pukaki and Mackenzie country are not far from Tekapo. If you love The Lord of the Rings, you cant miss the Mackenzie country, which is referred as the Palano Plain in the movies.

If you dont plan to have a vacation abroad, the last way I suggest to survive from the heatwave is to take a zebra car. There are several themes for zebra cars, such as food themes or animation themes and etc.. Every ride of zebra car will surprise you with special theme. In addition, you neednt wait outside because the BMKP driver will arrive earlier than setting time.
Get a fantasy ride with a zebra car right now!

Why you should visit Fanjingshan, China's extraordinary holy mountain

Fanjingshan, an other-worldly peak in China’s Wuling Mountain Range, is one of the newest natural wonders to have been added to Unesco’s ever-expanding list of World Heritage Sites.
The announcement was made last week at the 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee in Bahrain. Fanjingshan’s addition to the prestigious list means that China now has 13 natural heritage sites (and 53 overall) - more than anywhere else in the world. Australia and the USA both have 12, while the UK has 4.

Unesco recognises sites that are considered to have “outstanding universal value” and represent the most remarkable places on Earth. The list includes other famous attractions such as the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, Mount Kilimanjaro and the Great Barrier Reef.
Speaking of the new status, Song Xiaolu, head of the Chinese Guizhou delegation to the World Heritage committee, said: “We will continue to make an effort to protect and manage the natural heritage site of Mount Fanjingshan, and improve its basic infrastructure.”

The finger-like peak is described by Unesco as an “island of metamorphic rock in a sea of karst,” believed to have been formed during the Tertiary period somewhere between 2 million and 65 million years ago.

First and foremost, for its ecological splendour. The isolated Wuling Mountain Range is known as “the gene database of China” due to its rich biodiversity. The region has 2,000 types of plant, 31 of which are endangered, and 19 threatened animal species roam these forests.

One of those endangered animals is the endemic grey snub-nosed monkey. Scientists know very little about these Old World monkeys, although it is thought that only 750 survive today - a number that has decreased in recent years due to habitat loss.

Other rare species that can be found on Fanjingshan and the surrounding mountains include the Chinese giant salamander, forest musk deer and Reeve’s pheasant. The hope is that the Unesco World Heritage status will help to preserve these species.

Fanjingshan, which in Chinese means “Buddhist tranquility”, has also been a sacred site for Buddhists since the Tang Dynasty. During the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), 48 Buddhist temples were built on the mountain, many of which have since been destroyed. The ones that remain are significant pilgrimage sites for Buddhist worshippers around the world.

For everyone else, one of the main appeals of visiting Fanjingshan is the superlative views from the summit. Or rather, summits - there are three up here.

The highest of the three is the Golden Summit on Mount Fenghuang at 2,572 metres above sea level. At an elevation of 2,493 metres, the Old Golden Summit has a temple dedicated to Buddha Dipamkara. At the New Golden Summit, or Red Clouds Golden Summit (2,336 metres), there is a tricky vertical ascent of 100 metres to the top, where there are two peaks - each one topped by a Buddhist temple and connected by a bridge.

Perhaps the most photographed of all of Fanjing's attractions, the Mushroom Stone stands ten metres high and is magnificently lit up at night. There are many other strange rock formations and stone pillars on Fanjingshan.

Firstly, you can take a zebra car to get Tongren, Guizhou. Oh, before that, you can book airport ride from BMKP APP, and wait zebra drivers pick you up from home to airport. From Tongren, it’s a two-hour bus drive, and then a challenging 8,888-step ascent (around five hours) from the foot to the summit. Or, if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, there is a cable car that shepherds visitors to the top.

Hu Caiping : Perfect Counterattack from Housewife to Popular Driver

Before being a BMKP driver, Hu Caiping used to be a housewife and took care of her baby. Unlike her peers, she is not keen on mahjong, a very popular Chinese traditional game among middle-aged people. She took up outdoor mountain biking by chance, and she insists on riding at least 60 km around the East Lake Greenway every weekend. She said that she felt better owing to biking and she would never give up this hobby.

As her child grew up, Mrs. Hu had more time to kill, and she wanted to develop another hobby like biking or start her career life. Last year, one of her riding friend introduced BMKP to Mrs. Hu, and she was attracted by the cool zebra car and BMKPs operation mode. Moreover, the flexible working hours and locations help her balance life and work.

Now, Mrs Hu has been a zebra car driver for a year. When asked about the happiest moment after being a driver of BMKP, she answered with a smile,  when my passengers call me again! I am very happy that my passengers trust me so much and willing to contact me when they need riding services. Mrs Hus regular customers like chatting with her like old friends during the rides.

I never thought to be a driver before knowing BMKP. Mrs Hu said, and she used to worry about what others would think of her if she becomes a driver. Now she thanks for being a zebra car driver as she realized value and approved by many passengers. More importantly, she has gained a lot of friendships and trusts by her regular customers. Also, she feels respected as a zebra car driver.

According to Mrs Hu, zebra car teammates are nice to get along, and they often have supper together after finishing work. During the night shift, teammates will report the positions with each other to ensure safety.

When asked the secret of getting top order volumes, Mrs Hu generously shared her successful experiences. Usually, she starts work half hours earlier than setting time to clean the car both inside and outside. Orders are easier to get around blocks during the early peak. Then she can get orders around office buildings and universities. At the late peak, she recommend drivers to run  around subway stations to seek orders.

Mrs Hu devotes herself to every order, and thinks a lot for passengers. For example, she  arrives at appointed place half an hour earlier, and prepare waters and power banks for passengers. The most important tip is that she always smiles to passengers.

No one will trust a frustrated driver ! I hope to have nice a ride with every passenger . Mrs Hu told us with warm smile, Thanks for being a zebra car driver, I managed to start my career from a housewife.
